Based in an old Victorian factory dating back to the 1860s, The Jam Factory has evolved into a very special and unique place!

Over the last 15 years we have moulded the "Jammo" into a vibrant, creative setting. It is THE place to come in York if you are into making music.

As well as being home to Yorks' Access to Music course, the Jam Factory is also in the hub of York's music scene, provlding rehearsal space and recording time  for many of York's finest bands of the past, present, and the future! The Jam Factory is situated a short walk from the city centre and is conveniently  accessible  by bus, road, and rail..

Facilities include four fully equipped sound proofed rehearsal rooms, a state of the art recording  studio, technology loft and seminar rooms, as well as a comfortable chill-out area. Over the summer we have built an extension and created a new entrance and reception office and added custom drum storage rooms to two of our rehearsal rooms.
